Verdict

Several of these made promising debuts in races that have worked out or are working out well and it should be an informative event. John Gosden has a good strike-rate with his three-year-old here and his duo of Ben Vrackie and Lady Baker should both be noted with the former expected to come on from his Newbury debut. Scaramanga emerges from a very warm race at Sandown and he’s another who will be more forward this time around. HAMLUL is a touch more experienced than that duo with his debut run working out well and his second last time out (to Sleeping Lion) reading particularly well in the light of his subsequent handicap win. Recordman, Natural History and Elasia are others worthy of note.
  1. Hamlul
  2. Scaramanga
  3. Ben Vrackie
