Verdict

A small field, but a seriously tight handicap full of Ripon regulars, so finding the winner isn't easy. Indomeneo has an exemplary record here, and further rainfall will assist him enormously, while Winged Spur might just find this overly tough despite a productive spell of recent form. Fine margins cover the remainder, with Daawy perhaps most interesting if ignoring his last couple of starts, but MIKMAK has proved more reliable lately, handles this C&D well, and despite a rising mark should run his race for an in-form trainer.
