Verdict

PRESIDENTIAL has been in super form this season (figures of 112123 since April) and ran another fine race in competitive event at Carlisle recently. This is a classier event, but on paper perhaps less demanding. With his rider taking off 5lb, a big run seems likely. Brother McGonagall is seeking a four-timer but might be caught by the assessor this time while Vale Of Kent must put a poor run at Haydock behind him. Mythical Madness and Poet's Society are in fine tune but needing career-best runs to land this seemingly, while multiple C&D winner Nicholas T is also noted in a very open heat.
  1. Presidential
  2. Brother McGonagall
  3. Nicholas T
