Verdict

Thought good enough to take a chance in the Irish 2,000 guineas, WOULD BE KING can get off the mark at the seventh time of asking following bold runs in Group 3 and Listed company for trainer-Ger Lyons. It's hard to imagine the Aiden O'Brien-trained Indianapolis will not improve on a dour debut here in April, giving the selection the most to think about. Godolphin newcomer Cloak Of Darkness in a first-time hood will be expected to finish in front of most of the field on debut.
