Al Asef (2/1), Nine Below Zero (9/4), Lord Riddiford (4/1), Grandfather Tom (8/1), Joegogo (8/1), Green Fortune (10/1), Requinto Dawn (14/1), Big Time Maybe (16/1)

Verdict

A tough race to solve with plenty of overlapping form-lines. Strictly speaking Lord Riddiford has the better of Nine Below Zero, but also with something to find with Requinto Dawn, although allowing for rapid improvement (possibly occurring), he could prove capable of improving his career strike-rate to 50% (3 from 6). Green Fortune is no back number and with course winning form (6f) could be worth an each-way investment at likely double figure odds, but the vote goes to the handicap debutante AL ASEF who is probably on a lofty mark, but remains unexposed, has AW winning form (Tapeta) and the wily, veteran rider Gerald Mosse on top.
  1. Al Asef
  2. Lord Riddiford
  3. Green Fortune
