Forecasts

Fyrecracker (6/1), Hitman (7/1), Chaplin Bay (7/1), Airglow (7/1), Cryptonite (9/1), Justice Pleasing (10/1), Acrux (10/1), Jessinamillion (11/1), Cobalty Isle (12/1), Unnoticed (12/1), Searanger (14/1), Grey Destiny (18/1), Khitaamy (22/1), Toriano (25/1), Melaniemillie (25/1), Inlawed (33/1)

Verdict

Both Acrux and Fyrecracker are recent winners, and whilst those wins were recorded in moderate races this is almost certainly little stronger. Searanger, Melaniemillie and Unnoticed (1,2,3) all locked horns over 6f here last month, but who'll come out on top today is anyone's guess with the winner unproven over 7f, the runner up woeful since, and the third with a win record of just 1 from 36. Cryptonite is worthy of mention with Josie Gordon an eye-catching booking, but we'll plump for HITMAN who has the proven ability to strike in this grade when bringing his full arsenal to the table.
  1. Hitman
  2. Fyrecracker
  3. Cryptonite
