Verdict

An open contest. Sam Noir is clearly felt to be on a good mark but he needs to brush up his jumping for his yard that won this race last year. Border Breaker bolted up at Cartmel last time and is still well handicapped on his old form despite the 13lb rise in the weights. Similar remarks can be made about I See You Well who remains off a good mark off just 4lb higher than when winning at Fontwell two weeks ago. A chance is taken that ADAM DU BRETEAU can bounce back to form. Having had a quiet spell over the last 12 months he is now dangerously handicapped having had a spin to get him right three ago. Aidan Coleman is back in the saddle and he can return to form.
  1. Adam du Breteau
  2. I See You Well
  3. Sam Noir
