A low-class event with plenty making their handicap debuts and it’s fair to expect some improvement from a few. The booking of De Sousa takes the eye for Olympic Odyssey who could well come on for a switch to handicaps with the blinkers on for the first time. Isle Of Man gained his first win with the blinkers appearing to work the oracle at Brighton last time and if the headgear works again he’ll be of interest again under a 6lb penalty. Pentland Hills has already shown that he could win a handicap although he doesn’t quite look as though he’s the finished article yet. DECORATION OF WAR has always looked as though handicaps would suit and he’s just the type to do better in this discipline.
