Verdict

ACQUIRER showed improved form when tackling a staying trip for the first time at Bath recently and, despite being nudged up 6lb, has scope to defy a mark like this over this sort of trip judged on that run. He looks capable for Richard Hughes. The main danger may be Cross My Mind, who tends to race a bit freely but did make more of a fist of it last time over C&D. Golden Image and Atomic Jack can also be given their claims.
  1. Acquirer
  2. Cross My Mind
  3. Golden Image
