Verdict

The Joseph O'Brien-trained Border Control is likely to be popular in the market following a promising fourth of 18 behind Black Key in a Listowel maiden hurdle on Monday but DUC D'ALLIER from the Henry De Bromhead yard was showing plenty of spark on his racecourse debut at Punchestown recently to make him a worthy selection here in the opener. Sizing Joshua who is expected to improve and Kings War can battle for the minors here.
  1. Duc D'Allier
  2. Border Control
  3. King's War
