Verdict

An unappealing low grade finale, but at least there's plenty of fast ground C&D form on which to base a solid judgement. Carlini has progressed since finishing behind Bombshell Bay and He's Our Star in April, and with further improvement anticipated could well turn the tables on that pair; with the Seamus Cronin ridden horse expected to have the better of his old sparring partner in the battle between the 1/2. However, whilst others such as Mankind also hold claims, for small stakes we'll elect to go with the Mick Appleby trained JACKPOT ROYALE who remains unexposed after just four career starts and was a runner up on handicap debut at Nottingham latest.
  1. Jackpot Royale
  2. Carlini
  3. Bombshell Bay
