Verdict

A slightly unusual bumper in that all the contenders have come from the field of point-to-pointing and few have rules experience, but KOOTENAY RIVER made his bumper debut at Exeter in April, and can improve with the benefit of that experience here. He was sent off just 11/10 and was a smooth winner of his only point-to-point, so makes plenty of appeal here. The horse who beat him at Exeter Billygwyn Too carries a much bigger weight but should also go well, while Rogue Diamond is a rules newcomer who should go well.
  1. Kootenay River
  2. Billygwyn Too
  3. Rogue Diamond
