Verdict

Plenty have chances in a wide open renewal of this year's Chester Cup but MY REWARD is the tentative selection. Tim Easterby's gelding brings course form into the race and is drawn well to attack from his inside berth. Fun Mac has won at a higher level than this and ran a fine race in defeat in last year's renewal while Stargazer looked a little unlucky when demoted last time out and should run well again.
