Held up in touch in rear, outpaced 2f out, ridden and stayed on to take 3rd well inside final furlong, no chance with front pair tchd 10/1 and tchd 14/1
Masaarr (9/4), Magnificent (11/4), Night Castle (4/1), Kripke (6/1), Chingachgook (10/1), Ulshaw Bridge (12/1), Sir Hamilton (20/1)
Night Castle should run well on handicap debut, but looks high enough in the weights for this handicap debut, and preference is for MASAARR. He disappointed at Wolverhampton when odds-on last time but shaped as if this step up in trip should suit, and he may be better with the benefit of a run under his belt as well. Magnificent has shown plenty of ability to date without getting off the mark and could also have a say.
