Verdict

A big field but not all that many have a genuinely realistic chance. The obvious one is SALUBRIOUS, runner-up at Grade 1 level for Paul Nicholls over hurdles and who ran away with his hunter chase debut at Exeter last time out, overcoming a lay-off in the process. He could easily improve on that effort and if doing so would surely go very close here despite it being a much tougher race. The main danger could be Full Trottle, who had a number of these in behind at Ludlow last time, while Shotavodka is another likely to go well.
  1. Salubrious
  2. Full Trottle
  3. Shotavodka
