Verdict

A weak race in which plenty of those declared have shown precious little form so far. That said, there are reasons to expect improvement from the likes of Baileys Excel, Littlelordconford and Grand Acclaim; which range from the introduction to handicapping on turf to the most savage cut of all (gelded). Following Breeze sits at the foot of the weights, but she's shown that she handles this track and is in good form at present. However, Monday's Windsor winner MARIETTA ROBUSTI is essentially a better horse than this grade, and should make it 2 from 2 on turf if unhindered by the faster underfoot conditions.
  1. Marietta Robusti
  2. Littlelordconford
  3. Following Breeze
