Forecasts

Hediddodinthe (7/4), Dance Rock (3/1), St Andrews (9/1), Jassas (10/1), Pantomime (12/1), Smooth Operator (12/1), Leodis (12/1), Urban Spirit (25/1), Cecilator (33/1), Simply Clever (50/1), Saint Cuthberts (50/1), Lord Franklin (66/1), Anna's Legacy (80/1), Kazoey (100/1)

Verdict

A moderate looking opener with no shortage of what you could term as National Hunt trainers with representatives. Jassas goes on the Flat for the first time since his days in France, whilst Dance Rock is upped in trip in first time cheek-pieces after a fair effort at Wolverhampton (1m6f) latest. However, we'll stick with Newcastle form, and the C&D contest here on March 13th provides the best clues. Hediddodinthe (second) just about came out on top of PANTOMIME (third) and St Andrews (fifth) and he has run well at Dundalk since, but the Rebecca Menzies trained mare is improving slowly and could represent a shade more value in a very winnable contest.
  1. Pantomime
  2. Hediddodinthe
  3. Dance Rock
