Verdict

A wide open sprint handicap to kick off the Good Friday All Weather Championships action at Newcastle, with the waters further muddied by the fact that Paul Midgley saddles no fewer than four runners. The likes of Captain Lars, Oriental Lilly and Lord Of The Glen have enjoyed hugely profitable winters and are a credit to their connections, but this rates as by far their toughest respective tests yet. In a race which is almost impossible to solve, we'll roll the dice with DYNAMO WALT. He tends to put his best foot forward late on in a race, so granted a strong early pace, he could be rattling home (stands side) as he did so over C&D in a Class 3 handicap in December 2016.
  1. Dynamo Walt
  2. Landing Night
  3. Marseille
