Verdict

2017 winner Boycie heads the weights and is generally solid during the spring months, whilst the in-from Tagur arrives seeking the hat-trick following successive 1m AW victories at Chelmsford and Southwell. He wasn't stopping on the latter occasion, so should handle this step up in trip with that form franked by the runner up Raakid scoring at Wolverhampton on Thursday. However, both Abel Tasman (Ed Walker) and DECIMA (Mick Easterby) are less exposed and potentially well treated. The selection didn't have the run of the race when finishing third at Redcar in October and nothing would give her veteran trainer more pleasure than an opening day winner on Town Moor.
  1. Decima
  2. Abel Tasman
  3. Stormingin
