Verdict

Last year's winner Shanroe Santos cannot be underestimated as he returns on the back of a really fine effort to score last time at Carlisle. He's respected but opposable now back conceding weight. TANIT RIVER scored over C&D three weeks ago having been handed a chance by the assessor. That was his first try over these fences and, despite going back up 5lb, he can double his Sandown tally. The likeable teenager Pete The Feat can never be written off here while Sam Twiston-Davies might get a tune from Horatio Hornblower.
