There are few reliable options in this race with
Daveron and
Mr Bachster both out of sorts of late but more than capable if the market signals turned positive.
Heurtevent catches the eye as he was supported for a similarly weak race two outings ago and he would have finished second but for a late blunder. His stable are running into form and he would count as another for whom support would be significant.
Pembroke House is usually thereabouts, whilst finding one or two too good and it could be a similar story again.
Barney From Tyanee appeals as the type to appreciate this stiff circuit, but the vote goes to
NORSE LIGHT. The seven-year-old has proven himself to be suited to stiff right-handed circuits and heavy ground. He remains well-handicapped despite his consistency this winter and can take advantage of a good piece of placing by connections.
