Verdict

There isn’t that much Fibresand form to go on here and whilst the reliable Lean On Pete should run a decent race here and has a leading chance he has been nudged up again in the handicap after his last win and might prove vulnerable. Senatus is a unknown quantity on this surface and will need to settle better to get involved although he would be dangerous with an easy lead. A chance is taken with SOMETHING BREWING he’s shown better form off higher marks in the past and his sire (Clodavil) has a 14% strike-rate here. Canford Thompson didn’t impress on his previous run here but he’s with a yard that a do well here and his recent races haven’t been run to suit while Daily Trader can be given a chance returned to the Fibresand although the last effort here was laboured.
  1. Something Brewing
  2. Lean On Pete
  3. Senatus
