Forecasts

Make Music (6/4), Soul Silver (7/4), Star Quality (7/4), Yeah Baby Yeah (4/1), Pattie (5/1)

Verdict

Four-time Lingfield winner MAKE MUSIC shaped very nicely off a 221-day break when finishing a close fourth over C&D last month under this claiming rider. They get in here on the same terms in a race which may not have the same depth. Despite some threats, Andrew Balding's charge earns the vote to extend her love-affair with this place. Star Quality showed there was no fluke in her Wolverhampton maiden win with a fine run over an extended-mile at the same track last time out and is open to further progress. Soul Silver represents a yard in solid form and, while behind Star Quality last time, is respected dropped in distance while Yeah Baby Yeah just needs to be ridden a bit more prominently to have a chance. Pattie is conceding fitness to all four rivals, but any market support for Mick Channon's Sixties Icon filly shouldn't be ignored.
  1. Make Music
  2. Soul Silver
  3. Star Quality
