Verdict

Very testing conditions are predicted for today's Newbury action, and as a result this opening contest isn't as strong as one might expect for the track. NAYATI is an interesting hurdles newcomer for Alan King, and a winner of a French Flat maiden on deep ground in October, so probably won't have to be overly sharp in order to play a leading role in this event. Of those with experience, the bar isn't set particularly high, with the 105-rated Born Legend the only previous winner in the contest.
  1. Nayati
  2. Special Relation
  3. Acaro
