ODE TO AUTUMN ran well when second in maidens at Newbury and Salisbury in the summer and that form alone puts him in the picture but he has since been gelded and John Gosden will not have brought him here for a look round. Zalshah may provide the sternest test for the selection as the only previous winner in the lineup. There are several interesting newcomers here too and of them Toshima stands out most with a very appealing pedigree.
