The market may prove particularly informative with all six making a nursery debut but WINDSOR CROSS looks a strong potential player regardless. Richard Fahey's gelding was probably facing an impossible task against Without Parole at Newcastle last week but shaped well enough on his first attempt at 1m and, having scored over a shorter trip there previously, he doesn't appear unduly over-burdened from an opening mark of 81. Jellmond opened his account over 7f here last time and may prove the best of these but has a stamina query to answer. Guvenor's Choice, the only C&D winner in the field, is also respected despite a below par effort last time.
