Verdict

EXCELLI is overdue a trip to the winner's enclosure but his second of 18 when last seen on the level was an excellent run in the context of a race like this and the booking of Pat Smullen suggests it's all systems go here. Paved With Gold rates the biggest threat after two very solid efforts the last twice on AW. Hes Our Music may not quite be the force of old but he loves it here and showed signs of a revival latest.
