Verdict

Not a particularly strong event for the first handicap on the card and it may well be that LADY LONDON can confirm and build on her winning form over C&D last time out when she had three of these rivals behind, overcame a mistake at the last and idled on the run-in. Apachee Prince was her closest pursuer and he may well again be the main danger being slightly better off a the weights this time around. Several of these have to prove themselves over this trip although Trongate did travel well here last time out and if he gets a decent gallop Maraweh a two-time C&D winner could be seen to better effect now. Cadore is undoubtedly well handicapped but he would fall in the group that need to prove that they stay this far even around this sharp circuit.
  1. Lady London
  2. Apachee Prince
  3. Trongate
