Jumped right most of way, detached in rear, headway and in touch after 4 out, outpaced next, ridden after 2 out, stayed on under pressure to take 2nd closing stages, no impression with winner op 9/4
Led, went right 1st, clear 3rd to 4 out, headed before next, ridden and one pace after 2 out, held when not fluent last, lost 2nd closing stages op 2/1
Aristo Du Plessis (6/4), Tonto's Spirit (13/8), Sakhee's City (5/2), Blue Hussar (6/1), Modulus (12/1)
Sakhee's City looks booked for another good run after a very promising reappearance here and a win would not surprise, but ARISTO DU PLESSIS has a C&D win to his name already this season and despite an 8lb rise, he is proven from significantly higher marks in the none-too-distant past, so he may be able to outclass them. Blue Hussar likes it here and a much more competitive effort than last time is anticipated.
