Jellmood (6/5), Imperial Red (5/1), Chingachgook (6/1), Mewtow (15/2), Demurrer (14/1), Marshal Dan (14/1), Rogue Hero (16/1), Sun Hat (16/1), Swiss Knight (25/1), Refrain (25/1)

Verdict

Jellmood just about sets the standard on his best efforts but he's potentially got his own ideas and will need the gelding operation to have sharpened his mind. The Appleby-trained newcomer Swiss Knight merits maximum given the stunning record of juveniles from that yard this season while Imperial Red ran well for a long way on debut at Newbury and should now be fitter. REFRAIN is entered in the next summer's Derby and represents loft connections on debut, he could be worth chancing to make a winning start in what isn't a the deepest race.

  2. Swiss Knight
  3. Imperial Red
