Verdict

A moderate, and divided 7f opener, where only a select few of these runners enter calculations. Jessie Allan tries hard, but always seems to find a couple stronger, and she took the losing sequence to 30 when beaten 2L by the thriving giant Breathoffreshair over 6f here last week. She should hit the frame, but the pair to concentrate upon are the lightly raced and improving Chaucer's Tale, and the top-weighted KAFOO. Mick Appleby is steadily getting to grips with his July 2017 acquisition (5,000 gns), and assuming he can back up his respectable Wolverhampton efforts at a different track, he's fancied to strike before slipping further upwards and out of this grade.
  1. Kafoo
  2. Chaucer's Tale
  3. Jessie Allan
