MAHLERMADE made a decent start over timber at Chepstow to be second behind an easy winner and, with this longer trip set to be in his favour, Alan King's charge boasts fairly sound credentials in this opener.
No Hiding Place is respected on account of his connections, and any money would be duly noted, but he has work to do on the formbook.
Trust The Man has been overlooked, essentially, in both hurdling starts but made the frame in both. His latest second at Sandown is worthy of respect and he should go well.
Clondaw Native is a potential improver in the mix.
