Forecasts

Cap D'Aubois (6/5), Woods Well (2/1), Champoleon (5/1), Thebarrowman (6/1), Conduct Yourself (25/1), Snugsborough Benny (50/1), Shower Cross (66/1), Maighnealta (66/1), Florianopolis (66/1)

Verdict

CAP D'AUBOIS and Ruby Walsh gave Davy Russell a brief scare aboard Death Duty at Tipperary last month, but in all fairness, the winner was value for plenty more than the winning three quarters of a length margin at the finish. Nevertheless, that effort represented a pleasing start over fences for the Willie Mullins trained five-year-old, and despite a slight drop in trip today, he only needs to produce a similar showing under Paul Townend in order to get off the mark at the second attempt over fences.
  1. Cap D'aubois
  2. Champoleon
