Verdict

THEATRE STAGE may have needed his reappearance at Exeter last month and he wasn't given a hard time of things. With that behind him, he runs from the same mark now and also benefits from Mitchell Bastyan taking 6lb off. That may be enough to give him the edge in this finale. Global Thrill exploited a falling mark to score a double at Stratford last month but was recently found out at Wincanton and may again scrap for minor money now. Flanagans Field returned from a long absence to score here impressively in March and showed that was no fluke next time out. He too is respected despite facing a tougher test from his new rating. The frustrating Princess Roania delivered a much better show last time out at Chepstow and has a chance should she decide to repeat it.
