Verdict

A very interesting early season bumper with the majority of the top yards represented so there is every likelihood that the winner will need to be smart. The most appealing claims belong to expensive purchase BURROWS EDGE, one of two runners for Nicky Henderson. He showed smart from in point-to-points and looks an exciting prospect. The market usually offers clues in these races but of the newcomers the most appealing is Philip Hobbs' Tidal Flow particularly given the yard's start to this season in bumpers. Also high on the list of likely newcomers is Irish Prince for the Pipe team.
  1. Burrows Edge
  2. Tidal Flow
  3. Irish Prince
