Like many Catterick handicaps this isn’t easy to solve and much will depend on the run of the race and plenty of the likely principal players are drawn wide which won’t make life easy. Therefore a chance is taken with
ROYAL CONNOISSEUR who may be ready for 7f now and looks well drawn from a stable that are still banging in the winners.
Boots And Spurs had a few of these behind him when winning over C&D last time but he’s not the most consistent and it won’t be a surprise if one in particular
Roaring Forties reverses the form having not really had the run of that race.
Fingal’s Cave descends to his last winning mark and he is a dual C&D winner while
Worlds His Oyster is one to watch in the market given he didn’t really get a run last time although the draw makes life hard.
Shouranour won this last year but hasn’t looked to be in the best form of late; a return to this venue may help though.
