Verdict

SUSSEX GIRL broke her maiden at the eighth attempt last time out and she can follow up by taking this competitive looking handicap under a penalty. The selection is proven on soft ground and with today's 1m2f trip also suiting she can get the better of Rubis, a versatile individual who is proven over further and was successful over 1m1f earlier this month. Longside has won and placed twice at this course in the past and while he's unproven on soft ground he runs well at this track and can finish third today.
  1. Sussex Girl
  2. Rubis
  3. Longside
