Verdict

Not the strongest of races but CHOUGH looks the potential improver in the field having gotten off the mark stylishly at this course last time out. As long as stepping back up to this trip doesn't inconvenience Hughie Morrison's gelding then he looks capable of building on that easy victory, especially in a race where he faces few in-form rivals. One of those few is Born To Please, who is considered on the basis of her second at Ffos Las last time, while Captain Sedgwick is entitled to do better dropped back down to this trip.
  1. Chough
  2. Born To Please
  3. Captain Sedgwick
