Verdict

A tough one to call as a 'shortlist' is hardly an apt description for those capable of winning on the pick of their form. The likes of Discours D'un Roi and Cyrname have yet to run up to their form in France but represent two of the most respected yards in Jumps racing, so have to merit a check in the betting; while the first time tongue-tie may well tip the scales in favour of Oldgrangewood, who reverts to hurdles on a handy enough mark to make it as one to bear in mind. I'm A Game Changer would also be dangerous to ignore if the betting casts him in a good light. However, MISTERTON has a little more scope than a few of the rest and could be the one with the most potential. He edges the narrowest of votes as the one to side with on this occasion.
  1. Misterton
  2. Discours D'un Roi
  3. Oldgrangewood
