Verdict

There look to be some nice promising types in this who could go on from here and Counter Shy has already made an impression when he won on his hurdles debut here recently and he’s sure to progress again. Arthington is so far unbeaten over hurdles but this will be his toughest test so far and it would be a good performance if he can give weight away all round here and maintain his 100% record over hurdles. SWORD OF FATE is in excellent hands and given his bumper and hurdles form so far gets the vote in this having only been beaten with more experience last time. Holryale needs respecting from a leading yard although his overall form isn’t as yet good enough to win this with Monty’s Award also worth a glance in the market exchanges as he looked a decent enough horse in bumpers and wasn’t a cheap purchase.
  1. Sword Of Fate
  2. Counter Shy
  3. Monty's Award
