A competitive contest, with a number of these runners having strong claims on their very best form, including 2016 winner
First Bombardment. However, plenty of horses come into this race in better form than the David O'Meara trained runner, most notably
Suwaan, who proved himself to be a solid AW performer for Ruth Carr earlier in the year. His recent Doncaster effort represents strong form and he looks certain to be in the shake up tonight.
Fruit Salad has also run well on both of her previous visits to this track and should be noted with the excellent Josephine Gordon booked despite inching slowly up the weights. However, strong preference is for the most infrequent winner
GAMESOME. Paul Midgely is a regular source of winning sprinters overall, and this six-year-old looked more than a shade unlucky when a narrow fourth in a strong Pontefract handicap won by Paddy Power last month. He is untested on the AW, but this stiff track should suit, and expect him to come late on the scene from a low draw.
