Verdict

A contest which promises to offer plenty for the future with both Godolphin and Al Shaqab Racing doubly represented with newcomers, and the likes of William Haggas, Hugo Palmer, Roger Varian and Sir Michael Stoute all saddling potentially interesting runners. The Palmer trained Dragon Mountain was unlucky to bump into subsequent Royal Lodge winner Roaring Lion on debut here last month, whilst the Varian trained Neeraan looked a potential major future improver when fourth to the progressive White Mocha at Haydock. However, the selection is one of the Godolphin owned newcomers; BOW STREET. Charlie Appleby has performed exceptionally strongly with his juvenile newcomers in 2017, and this New Approach colt has all of the required attributes in his family tree in order to progress into a most classy performer in time.
