Verdict

FLEUR FORSYTE produced a career best last time out and she gives the impression she's still learning on the job and there may be more to come. Elbereth should enjoy this drop in class after some respectable efforts in Group 2 company this year. John Gosden won this with Journey last year and Elas Ruby has been running well on the other side of the Channel recently, getting the vote of stable-jockey Frankie Dettori; giving the trainer a fair chance of landing back-to-back renewals.
