Verdict

It isn't beyond the realms of possibility that Moorstown could return much stronger now fitted with a tongue tie, and just 3lb higher than when winning at Bangor in November 2016 is handicapped to run very well if fully fit and ready to do himself justice, with the market probably the best guide to his chances. However, LANDMEAFORTUNE could prove tough too pass if given a positive forcing ride by Ross Chapman. The Martin Todhunter trained eight-year-old gelding races from a joint career high mark today, but is steadily building a consistent profile, and demonstrated that he has stamina aplenty when finishing third behind Boric and Mister Don in the Highlands National (3m6f) here in April.
