Verdict

Quite a difficult contest to work out with the in-form Bell Heather drawn wider than ideal in stall 10 and the rise in the weights might just see her give best here. Her stablemate Energia Flavio remains a maiden at least in GB and with run style he’ll need some luck to win around here. Korbous disappointed last time out but that was on a unique racing surface and faced with a more conventional one should run a more solid race while Miss Goldsmith must be respected even after her rise in the weights. Echo Of Lightning acts well around here and has the expert assistance of Simon Walker but in the end a chance is taken with B FIFTY TWO. He’s never really been tried over 7f but is well drawn with a more than capable pilot on board and he may finally be able to take advantage of a much reduced mark.
  1. B Fifty Two
  2. Korbous
  3. Miss Goldsmith
