Verdict

The mare Slowmotion has been a model of consistency over fences for connections and looks sure to put up another bold bid for this prize. She has yet to finish out of the money over fences when staying upright and finished best of these in the Galway Plate last month. Arbre De Vie was perhaps unfortunate in that race and made no mistake back at Ballybrit for the quick follow-up, he could have much more to offer in this sphere. Potters Point and A Toi Phil should be involved at the business end while Stellar Notion, who went well for a long way in the Irish National is worth considering at a big price. Tempestatefloresco is respected for Tizzard team but fellow British raider VIVA STEVE goes well fresh and can give this a real push from just a 4lb higher mark than when scoring last November at Ayr for a yard currently going well.
  1. Viva Steve
  2. Slowmotion
  3. Stellar Notion
