JACK SNIPE has proved a revelation since going back over fences and now sports a 50% strike rate over the larger obstacles. He has been hit with a massive rise for his latest victory at Newton Abbot in July, but what was most likeable about that performance was the way in which he travelled throughout the race. These summer contests are often all about the horse in the best recent form, and with stamina in spades he's worth supporting from a revised mark of 110. Another improver,
Kinari, would appear the chief threat, and he seems versatile in terms of ground conditions and his recent narrow Uttoxeter success should almost certainly be marked up (his first run for ten months).
