Verdict

A few of the connections of the runners here will be wishing that they had ended up in the first division as this must be one of the most competitive races at this level for quite some while. Harbour Patrol and Jack Blane both finished in front of Pipe Dreamer last time out but it won’t be a surprise to see the last named reverse that form with that experience under his belt and the yard in cracking form. That’s not to write off the other two either who are both capable at this level and have shown promise of late. None of the Irish raiders make that much appeal here but one who does and is the suggestion is DARVIE for whom the 7f looks sure to suit as will the drop in grade after his Redcar run last time out which has already seen its form boosted.
  1. Darvie
  2. Pipe Dreamer
  3. Jack Blane
