Rebel State (5/1), Remember Rocky (11/2), Looking Good (6/1), Haymarket (6/1), Argaki (8/1), Jessie Allan (9/1), Let Right Be Done (10/1), Dark Confidant (10/1), Stardrifter (16/1), Schottische (20/1), Fire Diamond (22/1), Danny Mc D (28/1), Yair Hill (40/1), Wolf Heart (66/1)

Verdict

Haymarket arrives on the top of his game but his new mark asks serious questions and there are few dark horses in this who are worth a closer look. Danny Mc D makes his handicap debut with a good rider on board and the Irish challenger Looking Good has an experienced rider on board and may have been mapped out for this. Rebel State looks sure to be thereabouts but we think DARK CONFIDANT can follow up his recent success under this rider off just 1lb higher. The soft ground was against him last time but the quicker surface here can bring the McCain family another win in an amateur's race to add to their haul in 2017.
  1. Dark Confidant
  2. Rebel State
  3. Haymarket
