Verdict

An open contest in which a number of runners come into the reckoning. Baron Run adores Hamilton, but is worth a go at this broadly similar track over his favoured 6f, whilst recent Newcastle winner Ambitious Icarus again has the headgear combination tinkered with in an attempt to keep him on his mettle. Roys Dream is interesting at her seemingly favoured time of year and should make the frame whilst both Soaring Spirits and Major Crispies are largely reliable enough sorts (the former a C&D winner in 2016). However, despite contesting various sellers and claimers, a chance is taken on the filly SEMANA SANTA. She has a race in her from this mark on turf having competed well on the AW from slightly higher perches in the none too distant past.
  1. Semana Santa
  2. Soaring Spirits
  3. Roys Dream
